How you can get Involved

Over the year, we plan a wide variety of activities and opportunities for members to get involved and meet each other.  Whether you're eager to hit the doorsteps, engage in lively policy debates, or hear from speakers, there's something for everyone. Getting involved helps the local in the Conservative Party grow our membership and volunteer base. There are several ways that you can contribute and make a difference in your local community and promote conservative values and ideas. 

Here are the top ways to get involved

  1. Join the Conservative Party: The first step to becoming actively involved is to become a member of the Conservative Party. Membership allows you to participate in local party activities, vote in leadership elections, and take part in party conferences and policy discussions.
  2. Volunteer with us: Volunteers are a vital part of the Conservative Party volunteering just an Hour can make all the difference. As a local Associations we are on the look out for volunteers to help on the campaign trail, Fundraise or help coordinate campaign activities. This could be through distributing leaflets locally, helping candidates canvassing, or other standing as a candidates. By volunteering, you can build connections with local party members and contribute directly to the party's success in your area.
  3. Conservative Policy Forum (CPF): We meet every two months to debate local issue and give discuss on policy topics. These are proposed by Conservative Campaign Headquarters or my local members. If you have an opinion or new policy ideas joining our Local Policy Forum Debates is a one way you can influence policy.  Please contact us directly if you would like to be included in this group.   4. Donate: You can donate to Plymouth Sutton and Devonport's fighting fun. When we have elections in Plymouth your support is vital. We rely on our members and donors to fund our local campaigning activities, and we will need all the resources possible to get our councillors and candidates. You can donate via Check or BACS, the first step would be to email us.
